Sustainable Resource Management and Environmental Monitoring
Sustainable Resource Management and Environmental Monitoring deals with resource evaluation, exploitation, and conservation along with environmental integrity and ecological balance. This field studies ways through which natural resources can be utilized sustainably despite environmental and social pressure. Some of the research topics include but are not limited to resource assessment, environmental monitoring, ecosystem evaluation, sustainability indicators, conservation strategy formulation, environmental impact assessment, and geospatial/monitoring technology use. The effect of resource management methods on ecosystem health and resource availability is also one of the areas being studied. This field helps in understanding how environmental protection and resource management should go hand in hand to maintain healthy ecosystems.
