Biography

Haijun Qiu is deputy dean of College of Urban and Environmental Sciences at Northwest University, working on mountain-hazard monitoring, early warning, and risk mapping. He is also a national-level young talent, high-level scientific and technological leading talents of the Ministry of Natural Resources, leading talent in Scientific and Technological Innovation under the Special Support Program for High-level Talents of Shaanxi Province, and Outstanding Young Scientist of Shaanxi Province, "Most Beautiful Geographical Science and Technology Worker" of the Geographical Society of China. He has published 85 SCI journal articles as the first/corresponding author, including 11 hot paper and 15 highly cited papers. He filed 17 invention patents, registered 5 software copyrights, and published 5 books.
