Health Informatics and Data Analytics

Health Informatics and Data Analytics involves handling, analyzing, and integrating health-related information with a view to improving decision making and health care outcomes. The study involves the intersection of three disciplines, including health care, information technology, and data science. The main aim is to convert complicated health information into useful insights. Some of the subjects included in the research on this subject include electronic health records, health informatics systems, clinical data management, predictive modeling, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and population health analytics. It also looks into data governance, interoperability, and data quality issues. The use of sophisticated analytical tools within the health information and data analytics allows for effective healthcare planning, better patient outcomes, and evidence-based health policies.
