Global Public Health and Population Health
Global public health and population health are aimed at promoting knowledge and interventions that enhance global population health status. The study focuses on studying the pattern of health, illness, and wellbeing of the communities in consideration and the determinants of such health outcomes both locally, nationally, and internationally. This field involves studies in areas of disease prevention, community health, health care provision, health policy formulation, epidemiology, environment-related issues, nutrition, and mental health, among others. The field promotes innovative methods that lead to better health for all, address health problems and promote equal access to health care facilities.
