Biography
Dr. Pengcheng Fu is a Professor at the School of Marine Science, Hainan University, China. His research focuses on systems biology, microbiome science, biopeptides, functional foods, healthy aging, synthetic biology, marine biotechnology, and coral holobiont systems. He has published more than 100 peer-reviewed SCI-indexed articles, edited the book 《Systems Biology and Synthetic Biology》 (Wiley, 2009, ISBN9780471767787), and holds multiple international patents. Prof. Fu was recognized among the World’s Top 2% Scientists with Career-long Impact (2024) and currently leads research on the Gut–Immune–Longevity Axis and microbiome-based interventions for healthy aging and longevity.
