Biography
Dr. Michael Mncedisi Willie holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), an MBA, an MPhil in Marketing, an MSc in Mathematical Statistics, and a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics. He is an executive with extensive expertise in health policy, healthcare financing, business strategy, research, and financial services. He has held senior research and executive roles within the South African medical schemes sector, leading evidence-based policy development, strategic analysis, and data-driven decision-making. His professional experience also spans data management, banking, and corporate insurance. In addition, Dr. Willie has provided consulting services to both local and international organisations, applying his multidisciplinary expertise in research, analytics, governance, and strategic advisory across the healthcare and financial services sectors.
