Biography

Vikash Deep Bhaskar is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT), Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. He completed his M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the same university with First Division and a strong academic record. His research interests include Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Internet of Medical Things (IoMT), Blockchain, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Distributed Systems, and Intelligent Healthcare Security. His doctoral research focuses on developing lightweight and explainable machine learning frameworks for real-time DDoS attack detection in IoT-enabled smart healthcare systems. He has authored and co-authored several research articles, conference papers, and book chapters published or accepted by reputed publishers, including Springer, Wiley, IGI Global, and CRC Press. His research contributions span machine learning-based intrusion detection, blockchain-enabled healthcare security, federated learning, distributed databases, explainable AI, and intelligent healthcare analytics. Vikash actively contributes to the research community as a peer reviewer for leading IEEE conferences, Springer journals, and other international conferences. He also serves as a Technical Program Committee (TPC) Member, Session Chair, and Editorial Board Member, while contributing to the organization of international conferences and Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and emerging technologies. Before his doctoral studies, he gained professional experience in multinational organizations, working in technical operations, global talent acquisition, workflow optimization, and digital business development. His interdisciplinary expertise bridges academia and industry, with a strong focus on applying Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to solve real-world cybersecurity and smart healthcare challenges.
