Biography
Dr. Shilpa Narang is a Curriculum and Course Development Manager and Lecturer at ASA Institute of Higher Education (ASAHE), Sydney, Australia, where she also teaches Management and Business units. She holds a PhD in Management from M.M.H. College (Chaudhary Charan Singh University, India), with a thesis on the financial literacy of women in the context of cashless payments, alongside an MBA in Finance and Human Resource Management and a BBA. With over 15 years of experience in higher education — including 13 years as an Associate Professor and Program Director at institutions affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi — her career spans curriculum design, TEQSA/AQF and NAAC accreditation, academic governance, and postgraduate research supervision. She has authored more than 45 peer-reviewed publications across Scopus- and ABDC-indexed journals, conference proceedings, and edited book chapters, and holds a patent in IoT-based smart farming systems. She currently serves as an Editorial Board Member for the Journal of Commerce and Accounting Research and the American Journal of Theoretical and Applied Business, and reviews for several international journals.
