Mihail T. Georgiev, PhD, is a researcher and chemical engineer at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. His work focuses on colloid and interface science, surfactant-polymer interactions, hydrocolloids, complex fluids, rheology, and surface characterization. He has experience in academic and industrial research projects with international partners, including Unilever and Lonza. His current interests also include sustainable laboratories, functional formulations, and decarbonisation pathways for the chemical industry. He is a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
