Yes. Colloquys Journal memberships are valid for one year from activation. About 30 days before expiry, you'll receive a reminder email. Renewal is manual unless enrolled in an auto-renewal plan.
If you upgrade during your active term, you only pay the pro-rated difference based on unused portion. The upgraded benefits apply immediately, but your membership expiry date remains the same (unless you extend for a full year).
Unused free submission quotas expire at the end of the membership year and cannot be carried forward. We recommend scheduling submissions within the membership period to maximize your benefits.
Once your free submission quota is used, you still benefit from reduced APCs compared to non-members. The exact discounted APC depends on your membership plan and will be clearly shown in your member dashboard.
