Prof. Shubham Sunil Patil is an accomplished Electrical Engineer, Academician, Researcher, and International Reviewer with over 07 years of professional experience spanning the electrical industry and engineering education. His expertise includes Smart City projects, electrical substation maintenance, electric vehicle (EV) charger design, site engineering, project execution, and site supervision. He is recognized for his excellent communication, leadership, and technical skills, along with his dedication to promoting innovation in engineering education and research.
Currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Prof. Patil actively contributes to teaching, curriculum development, outcome-based education, and research. His academic interests include Power Systems, Renewable Energy Systems, Solar Energy Conversion, Energy Audit and Management, Electric Vehicles, Artificial Intelligence in Engineering Education, and Smart Grid Technologies.
Prof. Patil has established a strong international academic presence through his contributions as a reviewer, keynote speaker, and resource person. He is a Microsoft Conference Management Toolkit (CMT) Review Committee Member and has served as a review committee member for eight international journals. He has also been a review committee member for two international conferences, contributing to the evaluation of high-quality research publications.
As a recognized speaker in academia, Prof. Patil has delivered keynote addresses at two international conferences and has served as a Resource Person for 12 Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) on emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, research methodology, and engineering education. He has also completed more than 50 Faculty Development Programs, demonstrating his commitment to continuous professional development.
Bridging the gap between academia and industry, Prof. Patil has delivered 35 industry guest lectures, sharing practical knowledge on electrical engineering, renewable energy, electric vehicles, smart technologies, and professional skill development. His sessions are appreciated for combining theoretical concepts with real-world engineering applications.
In research, Prof. Patil has authored 03 international journal publications, has 02 ongoing journal manuscripts, and has published over 50 conference papers in national and international conferences. His research focuses on renewable energy integration, power systems, AI-enabled engineering applications, sustainable technologies, and intelligent energy management. He has also served as a Taylor & Francis Book Reviewer, reflecting his contribution to maintaining academic publishing standards.
