Biography – Dr. Danish Khan
Dr. Danish is an Assistant Professor of Commerce and Management at St. Joseph’s College of Commerce (Autonomous), Bengaluru (India), with over eight years of academic and research experience. He earned his Ph.D. in Commerce from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore, and holds an MBA in Marketing Management from IGNOU, New Delhi. His academic credentials also include UGC-NET qualification in Commerce, an M.Com. in Taxation, and advanced certifications in research methodology and statistical analysis.
Dr. Danish has published extensively in Scopus, ABDC, UGC-CARE indexed, and other peer-reviewed journals, contributing to fields such as entrepreneurship, behavioral finance, digital marketing, sustainable business practices, and investment behavior. He is the author and editor of several books, including Foreign Trade Procedure and Documentation (2025), Applied Research Methods (2025), Applied Research Techniques: From Concept to Conclusion (2024), and Building Smart Start-Ups in the AI Era (2026). He has also co-edited volumes with leading publishers such as Ideal International and contributed chapters on sustainability, AI in management, and green finance, including Routledge and CRC Press.
His research interests are interdisciplinary, with a strong focus on learner-centric pedagogy, outcome-based education, and sustainability in business. He has presented papers at numerous national and international conferences, collaborating with institutions such as Taylor & Francis, Scopus, and leading universities across India.
In addition to teaching and research, Dr. Danish has held administrative roles, including Deputy Controller of Examinations, and has actively contributed to accreditation processes, quality assurance, and institutional development. His professional achievements include recognition as a peer reviewer by Web of Science Reviewer Recognition, with multiple Certificates of Excellence in Reviewing across reputed journals.
He is a lifetime member of the Commerce and Management Association of India (CMAOI) and has also contributed to intellectual property development, with a published patent on intelligent digital commerce management platforms (2026).
